Amazon Art is pleased to present the “Amazon Street Art Project Curated by Vandalog,”  (#ASAP) a selection of limited edition prints for sale by established and emerging street artists curated by Vandalog, a leading street art-focused blog.

The artists have each designed and created a hand-signed and numbered print, in their own discernible signature style, for “Amazon’s Street Art Print Project”.

Often viewed as outsiders to the mainstream art world, these accomplished, multidisciplinary artists are now registering on the radars of art dealers, collectors, critics, and curators alike. Not surprisingly, their unique mix of activism and intervention is attracting the attention of major consumer, sports, and luxury brands resulting in successful collaborations in the art world and beyond. You can now own artwork from these coveted artists, whose work will be featured at Amazon Art, while quantities last.

These prints are available in very limited quantities of 50 each, priced between $200-$550 and available only on December 7, 2015 – December 13, 2015 (or until prints sell out).  Sneak peeks of the prints and information about each artist is available on the Amazon Street Art Project website: www.amazon.com/streetartproject where you can sign up for a reminder on 12/07 when the sale goes live.  Amazon Art is proud to sponsor the inaugural year of Art on Paper Miami where a VIP party on 12/04 in conjunction with Meural (www.meural.com) will feature digital images of the art featured in the Amazon Street Art Project.

“Street art is unique among art genres for the way it rebels against any single definition. It is not defined by a medium, a time period, or a style. Massive painted murals can be street art, and so can tiny wooden sculptures. Street art might look like pop art, or it might look abstract. This curated selection of prints and editioned works is about capturing a small slice of the variety that exists within street art, and making it accessible to collectors and fans of worldwide. The men and women included in this series made their names by putting up art on the street. Today, they also work in studios, producing pieces for collectors who want to support and share in the joy of artwork that transforms public space. I hope you enjoy this exclusive series of editioned artworks by seven of the most innovative, historic, and exciting names in street art.” – RJ Rushmore of Vandalog

Vandalog was started as a street art blog by RJ Rushmore in 2008.

Today, the Vandalog blog is known for being an opinionated, investigative, and critical space for street art, graffiti, and public art. Vandalog has also grown into a platform for books, art exhibitions, photography, and more.
